God wants to give believers 100% heavenly life
God
wants to give believers 100% heavenly life
God wants to give believers
100% heavenly life, but believers are rejecting it. God wants to give believers
a life of perfect holiness. To those who believe that Jesus Christ died on the
cross, God gives them the life of resurrection with Christ. However, those who
do not believe in the present resurrection life are rejecting it.
According to the doctrine of
justification by faith, believers are saved once they believe in Jesus, and
then they must achieve sanctification. So they work hard to achieve
sanctification. They must restore the image of God, or live a life that
resembles Christ, or pursue righteousness, or strive to live a holy life, or
examine whether they sin or not every day and try to keep the commandments, or
try to live a life like light, etc.
God gives the grace of
resurrection life to those who died with Jesus on the cross. God gives
resurrection life. Just as Jesus Christ became the first fruit of resurrection
from the dead, those who are in Christ also receive resurrection life. Although
they are invisible, they will be clothed in an eternal body, a spiritual body.
That is why the Bible calls them saints.
God gives 100% of His own to
the saints. Therefore, the saints become completely one with God in Christ. The
saints become those who establish the kingdom of God, become light and salt,
become sons of God, become those who restore the image of God, become
righteous, holy, and sanctified. This is not achieved through effort, but
because they are in Christ. In a word, this existence is one who possesses
resurrection life. Therefore, this is called the fruit of heaven. Those who do
not bear fruit are those who do not possess resurrection life. Those who
believe in the resurrection of the dead body or in the resurrection after death
do not have the fruit of resurrection.
The fundamental reason why
believers refuse to receive God’s
100% gift is because they do not believe in the present resurrection. Most
believers believe that they are saved by believing in Jesus, but they do not
receive perfect righteousness like God while they are alive. This means that
whether or not they will receive salvation will be determined at the time of
judgment after Jesus’
second coming.
Some people also say that
this salvation is a prepared salvation, not a confirmed salvation. They say
that God's seal is a promise, and that promise can change depending on human
behavior. The most fundamental reason for thinking this way is that believers
do not believe in the present resurrection. They think that the resurrection
will take place after Jesus' second coming and at the time of judgment. In
their opinion, those who are saved will go to the resurrection of life, and
those who are judged will go to the resurrection of judgment.
The present resurrection is
connected to the resurrection of Christ, but for the saints, Christ has already
entered their hearts and become their master. Those who have entered into
Christ through His return become beings with present resurrection life. Those
who have not are still waiting for Christ’s return and the resurrection that
leads to salvation.
In order to achieve the
present resurrection, one must first become a person who believes that he died
with Jesus. A person who is dead becomes dead to sin and the world. Therefore,
a saint becomes alive to the kingdom of God.
And the reason why believers do not believe in
the present resurrection is because they are weak human beings with flesh. They
can fall into sin, and because their flesh will die someday, they also have
fear of death, and because they live in the world, they cannot help but worry
about various things necessary for living, so the present resurrection cannot
come to them. The physical eyes cover the spiritual eyes. The present resurrection
can come only when the spiritual eyes are opened through the Word (eye salve).
Romans 6:5: "For if we have
been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall also be in the
likeness of his resurrection:"
Why do believers become dead
by uniting with Jesus? It is because they are sinners before God. In the Old
Testament, sinners offered sacrifices through animals. Sinners transferred
their sins to animals, killed the animals, sprinkled their blood on the altar
(water baptism), and burned the animal's body in pieces (fire baptism).
Therefore, sinners believed that they had received forgiveness of sins.
However, if we consider the relationship between sinners and dead animals, the
dead animals are sinners. Although the animals died in their place, it should
be understood that the sinner died. However, most of the Israelites at that
time thought that animals took their place in sins and that they had nothing to
do with dead animals.
Even today, many believe
that Jesus' death on the cross is the substitute for the sins of believers, but
few believers think that Jesus who died on the cross is themselves. They thank
Jesus and sing the song of the blood every day, but how many people think that
they themselves died to the world and sin with Jesus? In other words, their
faith is wrong from the beginning. No matter how much they say it is
justification by faith, a faith that is wrong from the beginning is like a
house built on sand.
Why must we die with Jesus?
It is because all human beings want to be like God and are beings who have
opposed God. This means that before being born into this world, people have
already been spiritually opposed to God. We must carefully consider the
metaphorical expression of the Garden of Eden in the Bible. Therefore, it is said
to die physically, be born spiritually, and return to the kingdom of God. This
is spiritual resurrection. Resurrection means returning to the previous
spiritual life.
